The Energy of the Color VIOLET

So, Purple/Violet is my favorite color.

I’m not sure why… but I love the color Purple. Right now, I’m wearing a purple/black striped turtleneck and my bandana for the day is purple! My phone case is purple…and my eye shadow is purple!!!

In her book The First Element: Secrets to Maximizing Your Energy, Dr. Tae Yun Kim talks about the energy of colors.

Here is what she says about Violet:

“Violet is the highest frequency, fastest vibrating color in our visible spectrum.  So it is the most soothing, tranquilizing, and cooling color vibration.  It stimulates you to experience the calm, peaceful, fluid harmony of your non-material energy states. Violet naturally promotes a meditational frame of mind, and encourages your emotional body to feel the spiritual bliss belonging to higher frequencies of your ki energy. Even more than indigo, it encourages the healing of unbalanced mental conditions in people who are overly nervous or high-strung.  Idealism, dedication, and artistry are positive qualities associated with violet.  Foods which enhance the violet vibration include purple broccoli, beetroot, and purple grapes.”

It is fascinating to me that purple is the fastest vibrating color in our visible spectrum, yet it is the most soothing and tranquilizing color vibration…

It is definitely a color that I need to connect more with. My internal clock moves really fast…sometimes too fast.
